What's new in Workers 5.0

The main development goal of Workers 5.0 was to provide developers with standardized APIs for their Workers and Worker base classes, and to provide the tools required to create dedicated strictly typed Worker APIs that would replace the untyped messaging API VIs of Workers 4.0.

Workers 5.0 is a major update to the framework. The following sections outline the new / upgraded / replaced development tools and functional changes made in Workers 5.0.
